Rachana Awards conferred on 5 eminent personalities

Mangaluru: Five eminent personalities from the Catholic community were conferred with the prestigious Rachana awards at a glittering ceremony held at Milagres Jubilee Hall on Saturday, November 17.

The awardees are Faye D’Souza, Executive Editor of Mirror Now (Rachana Professional of the Year), Lawrence Pinto (Rachana Agriculturist of the year), Ronald Castelino (Rachana Entrepreneur of the Year) and Sr Maria Jyothi A C (Rachana Woman of the year).

Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangaluru Diocese presided over the function. Dr Charles Lobo, Chief Post Master General, Karnataka Circle was the chief guest. Rachana President Staney Alvares, Vice President Elias Sanctis and others were present.
