Rape of a minor at Goodinabali condemned, protest march held

Bantwal: To condemn the rape of a minor at Goodinabali and to demand maximum punishment to the culprits, a a protest march upto BC Road was held by members of the Jamaat Committee, various organisations and general public on Friday, September 21st.
As a mark of protest, shops and business establishments in Goodinabali area downed their shutters. The protestors demanded protection and compensation to the family of the victim They also demanded punishment to those trying to hush up the case.
The protestors submitted a memorandum to the government through Tahsildar Purandar Hegde and Bantwal SI Chandrashekhar.
