Rayareddi says civil servants must accept their transfers

Koppal: Remarking on transfer of officials, Higher Education Minister and District-in-Charge Minister Basavaraja Rayareddi addressed if administrators were dropped from the skies.

With respect to question on transfer Koppal Superintendent of Police Dr. Anoop A.Shetty’s from the district soon after nine months of service, the minister answered that a civil servant must acknowledge his transfer regardless of whether he is requested to leave within nine days. “Officers are not more noteworthy than the government. You essentially make them legends,” he said.

It can be recalled that the state government faced embarrassment after the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) put a hold on the transfer of Dr. Anoop A.Shetty and Hassan DC Rohini Sindhuri as of late.
