Repair Works Reduce Electricity Output in RTPS by 880 MW per Day

Raichur: Electricity production at Raichur Thermal Power Station (RTPS) will fall by 880 mega watt a day as some power generating plants of the station have shut down for maintenance work following technical issues. The decline in electricity production is expected hit overall electricity supply in Karnataka state amid drought, scarcity of electricity and other issues.
