Rescue Operation Continue to Save 6 Year Old Girl from Borewell in Belagavi

Belagavi: Recue operations have been continuing since Saturday evening to save 6 year old girl who fell into an unused borewell at Jhanjharawada village in Athani taluk of Belgavi. Fire fighters, experts from NDRF and others have begun massive operation in the area after the accident on Saturday evening.
The rescue operators have began drilling another trench adjacent to the borewell and a medical team is also camped at the spot if any emergency arises. The girl is reportedly struck 20 feet trench and expert team failed to take her away from the well using hook. The mother of the victim fell ill when the incident occurred and she is being treated in 108 ambulance here. The unused borewell is located at the farmland of Shankarappa Hipparagi and the girl was accidentally fell into the tube well accidentally when she was playing on the ground.
