Bengaluru: Post the incident in which two legislators of Congress party had fought with each other at Eagleton Resort Bidadi resulting in the hospitalisation of one among them, a committee was appointed by the Congress party to investigate the incident.
The committee headed by deputy chief minister Dr G Parameshwara included K J George and Krishna Byre Gowda as its members and had been formed to probe the issue and submit report. A week has passed since the incident, yet the committee has neither visited the resort where the fight happened, or the hospital where MLA Anand Singh, is being treated. No information has been collected regarding the incident from the injured minister.
Meanwhile, Sharanappa, gunman of Ganesh, has claimed that Ganesh was not the first one to start the fight. The gunman supports Ganesh’s claim that Anand Singh tore off Ganesh’s clothes and attacked him with bed lamp and asserts that Ganesh was not at fault in the incident.
