Restaurant in B’luru vandalised after staff allegedly attack delivery boy

Bengaluru: As many as 20 people, including Empire hotel staff and some app-based food delivery boys, were arrested by the Mico Layout police.
It is gathered that a fight broke out between two groups over a trivial issue on Saturday, January 12 night on Bannerghatta Road. The fight was between the employee of an Empire Hotel outlet situated on Bannerghatta Road and a Swiggy delivery boy after their vehicles brushed against each other.
The fight got intense when the hotel staff ganged up and attacked the Swiggy delivery boy. The delivery boys of other food delivery app, who were present there, came to his aid and retaliated and also pelted stones at the hotel glass windows.
The hotel management immediately alerted the police. The police rushed to the spot and detained 20 people, including the hotel staff informed sources
The complaints have been registered by both the groups and the police have begun the investigation.
