Restaurant in Shivamogga uses Robot for serving food to customers

Shivamogga: A restaurant in Shivamogga is using a robot for serving water and food to customers and thus have become the first in the state to engage a humanoid robot to serve its customers.

It is gathered that a restaurant located in Vinoda Nagar, has become a big star attraction after they started using a robot for serving water and food to customers.

Speaking on the issue the owner said that he has bought this for around Rs 5.5 lakh and since then he has received a lot of positive feedback.

It serves water and food at the tables and even reads out the menu. The speed at which it moves can also be controlled. The robot simply needs to be charged for two hours, and the for the next 25 hours, it would function to its best capacity, informed sources.
