Road Safety Week on till Jan 17

Mangaluru: The ongiong 31st Road Safety Week will continue till January 17. The week is organised by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) which has planned certain events under this year’s theme ‘Sadak Suraksha – Jeevan Raksha.’
As part of the week, NHAI-PIU Mangaluru is conducting free health and eye check-up camps at various locations for motorists and the public. An awareness programme for children on road safety is also organised.
The events saw the presence of MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and MLAs Vedavyas Kamath and Bharath Shetty.
