Rowdy-sheeters attempt to drive away with doctor’s car, caught red-handed

Bengaluru: Two rowdy sheeters were caught red-handed while attempting to drive away with a car, belonging to a doctor at Sadashivnagar here.

The accused Salman and his accomplice Nawaz have been arrested by the police.

The duo smashed the windowpane of the car, in a bid to drive away with it. However, Dr Muniraj came out of the house upon hearing the commotion and raised a cry. Salman and Nawaz tried to flee the spot by jumping over the compound wall but they were caught by the locals. They were later handed over to the police.

Police said that the duo was involved in car thefts. They were released on bail 21 days ago and have again resorted to thefts.
