Udupi: RPF personnel receives praise for saving elderly man falling from moving train

Udupi: A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable was lauded by many for saving a man falling from a moving train at Indrali railway station, Udupi. The incident has been recorded by the nearby CCTV camera.

The man identified as Kutti Kundar (70), a resident of Perdoor had boarded the Mangaluru Central-Mumbai LTT Express to see off his daughter. However, while attempting to get off the moving train, he slipped accidentally, but firmly held on to the handle bar at the door.

He was saved in the nick of time by RPF constable Sajeer when he was getting dragged by the train.

Kundar who suffered minor injuries has been admitted to the nearby hospital.
