Mangaluru: Triggering yet another controversy, RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhatt said that the saffron flag can replace the national flag someday.

Bhat made the remarks during the conclusion of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s padayatra to Koragajja Kshetra in Kutthar.

He said that the tricolor flag was finalized to pacify the minority community.

He further added, “If majority people vote for a change of national flag in parliament and Rajya Sabha then the flag can be changed. If this continues in this manner, Hindu society will unite.”

On the issue of introducing Bhagavad Gita in the school syllabus, Bhat said Bhagavad Gita should be read in all schools and houses.
