Sandalwood thief shot dead by officials in Mysuru

Mysuru: A sandalwood thief was shot dead on Saturday morning at around 2.00 AM by forest department officials at Ramakrishnanagar in Mysuru city. His companions were run away from the spot when the officials opened firing at them. Senior forest department officials and police have rushed into the spot soon after the death of the thief, sources said.
