Second PUC: 376 students absent

Mangaluru/Udupi: History, Biology and Basic Mathematics examinations were held for the students on Second PUC on Thursday in which a total of 376 students failed to appear for the exams.
In Dakshina Kannada district 251 students were absent. Of the 11,007 students attempting History exams, 10,797 appeared and 210 were absent. Of the 13,647 attempting Biology exams, 13,609 appeared while 38 students were absent. In the case of Basic Mathematics exams, of the 1,031 attempting, 1,028 students attempted the exams while 3 failed to appear for the exams.
125 students failed to appear for the exams in Udupi district. In the History exams, of the 5,463 students, 5,350 attempted the exams while 113 remained absent. For Biology, 3,193 students appeared for the exam of the 3,205 students while 12 remained absent, however in Basic Mathematic examinations, all the 118 students attempted the exams.
