Senior journalist Suryanarayana Poovala passes away

Senior journalist Suryanarayana Poovala (51) passed away Friday morning at his home in Amtur near Kalladka.He was discharged from a private hospital in Mangalore on Thursday after being ill for the past two months.

Poovala served as a reporter for various newspapers for nearly 25 years.
