Shiradi ghat: Landslide in Donigal; traffic disrupted

Sakaleshpur: A landslide was reported at Shiradi Ghat Donigal of Sakleshpur taluk on National Highway 75 connecting Mangaluru and Bengaluru on Friday, July 15.

The connectivity between Mangaluru and Bengaluru has been affected due to the landslides and alternative routes have been provided for vehicular movement.

All vehicles going to Mangaluru have been diverted to Charmadi Ghat route via Belur, Moodigere road.

Vehicles moving towards Bengaluru can use the Charmadi ghat route to reach Mudigere and reach Hassan via Belur road.

Also, sandbags have been placed on the side of the road to prevent further collapse.
