Udupi: As per reports, the wait for the FSL report on Shiroor Seer’s unnatural death may finally come to an end as the report is expected to reach the authorities in another two days. With the availability of the FSL report, the police department will publish the comprehensive report.
It has been a month since the unnatural death of Sri Lakshmivara Theertha Swamiji of Shiroor Math which had given rise to a lot of suspicion behind the Seer’s mysterious death. Though the preliminary post-mortem report is already in possession of the concerned authority, the real cause for the Seer’s death can only be ascertained with the arrival of the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report.
Once the police make the final report on the cause of the Seer’s death public, the Shiroor Mutt wii be handed over to Sode Mutt, since there is no nominated Seer to take care of the Mutt. All poojas will be carried out as before once the Mutt is handed over back to the Sode Math.
If everything goes as expected, then the ‘Rangapooje’ for Lord Mukhyaprana of Shiroor Mutt will be carried out with the public on August 25th. Though the ‘Rangapooje’ is being offered since a month, the public is not allowed for security reasons.
