Shirva: Don Bosco school principal commits suicide

Shirva: Don Bosco English medium school principal and assistant parish priest of Our Lady of Health Church Fr| Mahesh D’Souza (36) allegedly committed suicide on Friday night Oct 11.
He committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan at the principal’s office in the said school. The reason behind his taking the extreme step is unknown. The deceased is survived by his father, mother and two brothers. Shirva police have registered a case in this regard.
Moodubelle-based Fr Mahesh got ordained to the priesthood on April 15, 2013, and served as the assistant parish priest in Kallianpur. Later in 2016, he was transferred to Shirva to serve in Our Lady of Health Church.
