Shirva Parish priest alleges life threat from 14 persons; files complaint

Udupi: Shirva Parish priest Fr Denis D’Sa has lodged a police complaint alleging abusive and threat calls from 14 persons and sought strict action against them.

In his complaint, filed with the Shirva police, Fr Denis said that the 14 persons had issued life threats to him during the protests held in the church premises on November 2 and 3 with regard to the suicide case of Fr Mahesh D’Souza.

He has named Sunil Cabral, Johnson Dolfred Castelino, Conrad Castelino, Peter Corda, Denis Mathias, Rayan Menezes, Arthur Menezes, Leonard Wilfred Menezes, Anthony Menezes Pilar, Clara Quadros, Sunitha Menezes, Leena D’Souza, Nikhil Mathias and Pratheeksha D’Souza in his complaint.
