Bengaluru: BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje has written a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, drawing his attention towards a purported incident of attack on an Indian residing in Kuwait.
An Indian driver was allegedly assaulted by some people for hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a Facebook post, wrote Shobha in her letter, informed sources.
Reportedly, Karandlaje’s complaint after a video showing an Indian driver, identified as Praveen hailing from Kerala., being slapped and abused by a man went viral on social media platform.
Reports suggest the video was shot in Kuwait on April 28 evening. Led by a man, who also hails from Kerala, around 10 people barged inside Praveen’s room and assaulted him and also made him apologize for the video he had posted.
