Shops to re-open in non-hotspot areas: List of what will open and what will remain closed

Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday, April 25, announced the opening of certain shops and establishments except those in shopping malls. Also, shops that are allowed to reopen from today include those located in residential complexes within municipal areas, but at a 50 per cent strength and after taking necessary precautions.
However, the home ministry clarified that liquor sales are still banned in the country.
List of what will open
All shops registered under the shops and Establishment Act of the respective State/UT.
Shops in residential complexes and market complexes
Shops located in registered markets located outside the municipal corporations and municipalities can open only with 50 per cent staff
Markets in rural and semi-rural areas
Local salons and parlours with some restrictions
List of what will remain closed
Shops in multi-brand and single-brand malls will remain shut.
Shops outside the limit of municipal corporations
Cinema halls, gymnasiums, sports complexes, entertainment parks, theatres, bars and auditoriums, assembly halls
All Liquor outlets, both government and private owned.
However, the above mentioned exemptions will not be applicable in locations identified as hotspot and containment zones.
