- Todikana-Patti-Bhagamandala connection road
Sullia: Todikana-Patti road is one of the alternate routes that connect with Kodagu which has been restored to its functionality by villagers and various organizations of Arantodu and Todikana through their Shramdan.
When Virajpet MLA K.G. Bopaiah had visited the gruel centre at Aranthodu-Sampaje, he had mentioned that the road should be restored through Shramdan. Giving ear to the villagers proposed to restore the Todikana-Patti road through Sharmdan as long as the Forest Department causes no hindrances, since the road connectivity between Kodagu-Dakshina Kannada (D.K.) was cut off after the road collapsed along the Mani-Mysuru route, the MLA had a telephonic discussion with Kodagu DAFO, who assured that the Forest Department will provide assistance and the repair work could be initiated immediately. Kodagu ZP CEO Prashant Mishra will visit Todikana and inspect the road, he added.
Shramadan
The Shramdan which was done with the assistance of various organizations also included ZP members, GP members, temple officials, bank officials, school officials and many villagers.
