Siddaramaiah’s Son Yathindra Joins Congress Party

Bengaluru: Congress party leader, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s son, Dr Yathindra reportedly joined Congress party officially nearly 60 days ago ending speculation over his entry to politics. However, he has not given any position in the party so far.
Yathindra has himself registered as a resident of Varuna constituency in Maysuru which is being represented by his father Siddaramaiah as MLA. Yathindra’s move has created speculation that he could contest in the next state assembly elections from Varuna.
Siddaramaiah’s is reportedly active in Varuna constituency for the last one year hearing the issues of people. Karnataka government recently nominated Yathindra as chairman of the vigilance committee of Varuna constituency to monitor implementation development projects.
