SIT Questions HDK for His Alleged Role in Janthakal Mining Scam

Bengaluru: A special investigation team questioned former chief minister of Karnataka HD Kumaraswamy (HDK) on his alleged role in illegal mining scam. HDK reportedly issued licence for Janthakal Mining Company to start a mining project in the state during his tenure as chief minister of Karnataka.
Former chief minister arrived at the office of SIT located at Hebbal in the state capital on Thursday and recorded his reply to as many as 60 questions raised by the SIT during interrogation. HDK asked the officials if there is any further interrogation in near future then the SIT should serve a notice three day prior to the day of questioning.
