Special trains between Mumbai and M’luru to manage summer rush

Mangaluru: In order to clear the extra rush during the summer, the railways will operate special trains between Mumbai Bandra / CSMT / Pune Junction and Mangaluru Junction and Mangaluru Junction / Kochuveli / Ernakulum Junction. The trains will be run in coordination with the Konkan Railway, the Central Railway and the Southern Railway.

Train No 09009 Bandra (T) – Mangaluru Jn (Weekly) Special on Special Fare will leave from Bandra (T) at 11:55 pm on Tuesday from April 16th to June 4th and reach Mangaluru Junction, the next day at 7:45 pm.

Train No 09010 Mangaluru Jn – Bandra (T) (Weekly) Special on Special Fare will commence its journey from Mangaluru Jn at 11 pm on Wednesday from April 17 to June 5 to reach Bandra (T), the following day at 7:30 pm.

The stops for the train along its route include Borevali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon Jn, Karwar, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road, Byndoor, Kundapur, Udupi, Mulki and Surathkal stations.

CSMT – Koucheveli

Train No 01065 Mumbai CSMT – Koucheveli (Weekly) Special will leave Mumbai CSMT at 11:05 am on Mondays from April 15th to June 3rd and reach Kocheveli the following day at 6:40 pm.

Train No 01066 Kocheveli – Mumbai CSMT (Weekly) Special will leave Kocheveli at 11 m on Tuesdays from April 16th to June 4th and reach Mumbai CSMT on the third day at 8:20 am.

The train will halt at the following stations including Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Borevali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon Jn, Karwar, Kumta, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road, Byndoor, Kundapur, Udupi, Mulki, Surathkal, Mangaluru Junction, Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Shornur Jn, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulum Jn, Shertalai, Alleppey, Kayankulam and Kollam stations.

Humsafar Special

Train No 01467 Pune Jn – Ernakulum Jn (Weekly) Humsafar Special will leave Pune Jn at 7:55 pm on every Monday from April 15th to June 3rd to reach Ernakulum on the third day at 1:30 am.

Train No 01468 Ernakulum Jn – Pune Jn (Weekly) Humsafar Special will leave Ernakulum Jn at 3:45 am on Wednesday from April 17th to June 5th and reach Pune Jn the next day at 12:25 pm.

The train will stop at all the other stations of CMST-Koucheveli Express till Ernakulum Jn including Chinchwad, Lonavla, Kalyan Jn.
