Udupi: Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on Friday visited the Kollur Mookambika Temple and offered prayers to the Goddess and participated in religious programmes.

It is gathered that Wickremesinghe performed Navachandika Homa for the welfare of the people of Sri Lanka.

Elaborate security arrangements had been made during the visit of the Sri Lankan prime minister in the temple town and private vehicles vere not allowed to enter the temple town during his visit.

After offering prayers at the temple, Wickremesinghe will attend the Nava Chandika Yaga to be held in the temple premises, informed sources.
