Bengaluru: Primary and Secondary Education Minister Suresh Kumar on Saturday, February 22 said that the SSLC preparatory and main board exams will be held as per schedule.

In the backdrop of SSLC preparatory question paper leak, Kumar, in a video uploaded on Facebook, said that the responsibilty of these question papers lies with principal of that respective schools. The intention behind conducting preparatory exams is to familiarise the students with the question paper pattern of the main board exams.

The question papers of the prepartory exams were despatched to schools three days ago. Unlike the main board exams, which has its own system, the SSLC prepartory exams as well as paper evaluation is done by the respective school itself, he said

Allaying fears of question paper leak of the main board exams, Kumar said there was no need for any kind of apprehension. “I have already held discussions with the deputy commissioners, police personnel, and other authorities of each district and the exams will be held successfully,” he added.
