Bengaluru: Education Minister S Suresh Kumar said that the students who did not receive their admit cards for the SSLC examination can appear for it in August.
His decision came after a student from Moodbidri and another from Bagalkot reportedly cannot appear for the examination as they did not receive their admit cards.
The Moodbidri student had not paid her examination fee while the Bagalkot student had failed to submit his photograph to the school. Hence both were denied the admit cards.
The minister said that the students’ examination in August along with the supplementary examination will be considered as their first attempt.
“The OMR sheets with the photographs of the students are already printed and kept in taluk treasuries. Additional OMR sheets cannot be printed now,” the minister said.
The schedule for the supplementary examination to be held in August is yet to be finalised.
