Student held under POSCO Act

Mangaluru: Urwa police arrested a college student under the POSCO act on charges of abducting a minor.
The arrested has been identified as Mallesh, 19, a resident of Uppala.
According to the police, Mallesh had become acquainted with the 17-year-old girl and had coaxed her to come with him.
A complaint in this regard was lodged by the girl’s parents at Urwa police station. The police investigating the case traced the duo and brought them back.
