Subramanya: 21-year-old seriously injured in wild elephant attack

Subramanya: In another case of man-animal conflict, a young man was seriously injured in a wild elephant attack at Kollamogru village in Sullia Taluk on Sunday morning.
Guruprasad (21), a resident of Kollamogru Konadka, was on his way to deliver the milk to a milk dairy, riding on his motorbike, when the pachyderm suddenly attacked him.
A man who was nearby, witnessed the account informed others, who then chased the wild elephant away. The injured youth was later shifted to a hospital in Sullia.
