Surathkal: Police arrest four in house burglary case

Surathkal: In a press release, the Surathkal police station stated that they have arrested on September 15 four people connected to the burglary in an apartment building at Idya village here.
The arrested have been identified as Raghu, Amesh, Navin and Santosh.
Raghu and Amesh committed the burglary on the night of August 17. Both are from Kerala.
The burglary was planned by Navin who is a resident of the same apartment building and is the manager of a liquor shop. Santosh also works in the same liquor shop.
The release stated that all four culprits had spent the money they burgled from the apartment.
Rs 30,85,710 cash was recovered from them along with 224 grams of gold jewellery. A car and a two-wheeler used in committing the crimes was also seized from them.
Two more Kerala-based culprits are yet to be arrested, added the release.
