Surikumeri K Govinda Bhat Gets Kendra Sangeet Natak Akademi Award

Bengaluru: Renowned Thenkuthittu Yakshagana artist Surikumeri K Govinda Bhat has been choosen for Kendra Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for the year 2016. K Govinda Bhat has been serving as Yakshagana artist for last 66 years and he worked for 50 years for Dharmasthala Mela alone. The award includes Rs 1 lakh cash and a certificate and momento.
