Bantwal: A woman who had gone missing since Monday was found dead in the Netravati river at Barimaru in Bantwal Taluk on Tuesday. It is suspected that she committed suicide by jumping into the river.
The deceased is identified as Tulasi (30), daughter of Lingappa Poojary of Papettimar in Barimaru.
The reason of her taking the extreme step is not known and Bantwal rural police have registered a case in this connection.
