‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ campaigns held across the nation

New Delhi: The Swachch Bharat Mission will be celebrating its third anniversary on October 2.

The BJP government has held various awareness campaigns on this occasion. Party leaders including senior ministers have been instructed by the party leadership to participate in a campaign ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’  (Cleanliness is Service) which would today.

Speaking at a gathering Swachhta Hi Seva in Delhi Minister Rajnath Singh said that “States like Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, and Haryana & Uttarakhand declared open defecation free.”

“Toilets have been constructed in about 4.60 Lakh houses and 4 Lakh schools.” He added.
