Hubballi: The South Western Railway will soon be adding the wide-windowed, glassed ceiling Vistadome compartments to the existing train on the Hubballi-Vasco route.

The train passes through some scenic parts of the Western Ghats including Castle Rock and the famous Dudhsagar waterfalls.

An official source added that concerned departments will first conduct an economic viability survey for the train and then will take a final decision.

Travel experts opine that the Vistadome compartments will be a boost to tourism in northern Karnataka and also to Goa.
