Bengaluru: The leading developer of Taiwan, Century Development Corporation (CDC) has offered to build a industrial park close to the Kempegowda international airport on the city’s northern outskirts, an official statement said on Wednesday.

The announcement said “The offer was made by CDC Chairman Theodre Huang and Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India head Chung Kwang to Karnataka Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy at a meeting here,”

The industrial park’s goal is to attract investment from the South East Asia nations, including China and Japan in industries related with robotics, aerobics, hardware, e-commerce and science and innovation.

CM Kumaraswamy in an event said “The Taiwanese industrial park near the international airport will goad ventures from its players and their partners in the area.”

State Minister for Industries K.J. George, who was also present at the event, said as the southern state was leading in innovation, the state government would stretch out help to the industrial park.
