Teenager killed in bike-KSRTC bus collision, pillion injured

Sullia: A teenager was killed and a man injured in an accident between a bike and a KSRTC bus at Kodankere, Arathoru on Saturday, February 8.

The deceased has been identified as Vineeth KM (16). Rajappa (22), riding pillion sustained head injuries and has been hospitalized.

As per reports, the bike was from moving from Sullya to Madikeri when it dashed to a KSRTC bus. The bus driver immediately rushed the injured to the Sullia Government hospital and Vineeth passed away yesterday evening. Rajappa has been admitted to a Mangaluru hospital.

The negligent bike riding of Vineeth is said to be the cause of the accident.

A case has been registered at the SulliaPolice station.
