Bengaluru: In a recent verbal conflict, Karnataka’s Chief Minister Siddaramaaih branded the RSS workers as terrorist. In response to the statement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s younger brother Prahalad Damodardas Modi said that branding RSS workers as terrorists is a nonsensical remark.

Addressing a programme on Vivekananda Jayanti celebrations at Sri Krishna International School in Bengaluru on Friday, Prahalad Modi said,” RSS workers struggled day and night during the India-Pakistan war and calling them terrorists is absolutely not acceptable. They shed their blood to protect the country and it is nonsense to make such a remark by calling them terrorists,”

He also said that congress has gone to an extent where they drag Narendra Modi’s wife Jashoda Ben into politics the way Kaurava’s dragged Draupadi at the sabha. They only show wrong direction to people.

During his speech at the programme, Prahlad Modi compared Narendra Modi to Swami Vivekananda and said that both of them share same name and both aim at protecting our religion and Dharma. Both of them are remembered in every corner of the country for their work towards Dharma.

He said he runs a small shop and the income from it was enough to sustain his family. He doesn’t want to be in politics and make a living out of it.
