Three arrested in attack on cattle trafficker at Panja

Puttur: Subramanya police has arrested three persons for allegedly attacking a cattle trafficker at Panja near Subramanya on Saturday, August 12th.
The arrested have been identified as Chidananda, Sundara and Pavan, all residents of Panja.
Incident
On the night of August 8th, a person named Yakub was transporting a cow in his car when he was stopped at Panja by some people. Yakub was soon after arrested by the police.
Later, Yakub said he was attacked by some persons and lodged a police complaint in this regard. Following investigation. the police arrested the accused and produced the accused in Sullia Court on Saturday.
