Three held for killing deer in Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary

Chamarajanagar: The forest department officials of Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary on Friday, July 24 arrested three people for illegally entering the forest and hunting a deer.
The arrested are Krishna, Shrinivas, and Puttaraju, all residents of Hanur taluk.
A team led by Deputy Conservator of Forest, Dr Rameshkumar after learning that few people illegally entered the forest to hunt a deer, conductor an operation and arrested the accused.
