Mangaluru: Even though rain has been experienced at some locations in the district since a couple of days, the water level at Thumbay vented dam, which is the lifeline to the city has not risen. Presently, since water is being supplied to the city, the water level at the dam stood at 3.10mt as of Sunday evening.

If there is no good rain, water supply will be stopped from 6am of May 28th to 6am of June 1st. Currently, since there is rain being reported at some places, the water rationing might get stopped on any occasion.

As per the water rationing rule, water supply will be available till 6am of May 28th.

Udupi: Water only for 10 more days?

Udupi: In order to pump water to Baje dam, water was pumped using two pumps near Puttige bridge on Sunday. On Monday, water will be pumped through two pumps beneath Puttige bridge ad one pump set near Puttige temple.
