Chikkamagaluru: Life-sized cutouts of political leaders stand tall around elections. However they are sent to scrap once the elections are over.
But here in Chikkamagaluru, the cutouts of top leaders of different political parties have been put to great utilize.
The farmers have raised the cut-outs of leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Amit Shah and BJP State president BS Yeddyurappa in their farms as scarecrows.
A walk around Lakkavalli “hobli” of the Tarikere taluk will show how the farmers have put cut-outs to best utilize.
