Traffic jam on Gundya-Subramanya SH after tree falls across road

Kadaba: A huge tree fell across the road near the Gundya forest office on the Gundya-Subramanya State Highway causing a long traffic jam.
Subramanya zonal forest officer Raghavendra said that the incident took place late last night and tree clearing operations have begun.
The tree fall also damaged the powerlines. MESCOM officials have also arrived at the spot for repairs.
A high number of pilgrims have been arriving at the Subramanya temple since Monday.
The road being the main line of connectivity between Subramanya and Bengaluru, vehicles of pilgrims were seen lined up on the road.
