Tulu movie ‘Umeel’ goes straight to OTT

Mangaluru: Ranjith Suvarna-directed Tulu movie ‘Umeel’ will be released on an OTT platform making it the first Tulu movie to do so.

The movie will be released on the ‘Talkies’ video streaming app.

Suvarna stated that since movies can’t have a theatrical release in the present scenario we will be releasing it on the app. The movie will be available on Talkies app from July 9.

Popular artistes have acted in the movie and you will be entertained watching it. This is the first Tulu movie with high-end computer-generated graphics and animation in it. Several other movies, Yakshagana performances are also available in the app. Download the app and watch Umeel, he added.
