Tumkur: Robbers kill bank security guard, escape with loot

Tumkur: Suspected armed robbers killed a bank security guard and escaped with cash and gold jewellery from the bank in Nagavalli village, Tumkur on Sunday, November 14.

The deceased has been identified as Siddappa (55). He was working as a security guard of Tumkur District Central Cooperative Bank in the village.

It is said that the robbers who broke into the bank and killed Siddappa before escaping with cash and gold jewellery from the locker.

Police officials have visited the spot and conducted an inspection. Further investigations are underway.
