Two drown in Krishna river in Shamli

Muzaffarnagar: Two people were feared drowned in overflowing Krishna river in neighbouring Shamli district, police said here today.
The incident occurred at Chadenamal village under Thanabhawan police station last evening, Circle Officer Arvind Kumar Rathore said.
12-year-old Yuvraj slipped into the river and his uncle Rajat singh (19) tried to save him but both drowned, the CO said.
Search is on to recover their bodies, he said.
