Udupi: 38-year-old guest lecturer ends life

Udupi: A 38-year-old man ended his life by suicide on Thursday, December 23 in Udupi.

The deceased has been identified as Sriharsha Shanbhogue, a guest lecturer in government first-grade college,  Thirthahalli, Shivamogga district.

He hanged himself in the staff quarters of MGM College, Udupi. It is said that Sriharsha took the extreme step following depression over the fact that his job wasn’t permanent.

He is survived by his wife, Shilpa Shanbhogue, who is a guest lecturer in MGM College Udupi and two children.
