Udupi: 53 new COVID-19 cases on July 13

Udupi: A total of 53 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the district on Monday, July 13 raising the cumulative total of the district to 1,661.
Two police officials in Kundapur have been confirmed with COVID-19 – a police officer in the subdivisional office and an ASI on Highway Patrol duty and his car driver.
313 samples were tested on the same day, of which 260 were negative and 53 positive.
Presently, there are 378 active cases in the district.
