Udupi: Car collides with two-wheeler; Rider seriously injured

Udupi: A two-wheeler rider was seriously injured in an accident involving a car and a bike near LVT, Ambagilu, Udupi on Sunday, September 8.

The incident occurred when a speeding Swift car, coming from Santhekatte towards Udupi, collided with a two-wheeler that was entering the highway from an inner road. Due to the impact, the rider was thrown onto the road, and the car came to a halt after crashing into an electric pole.

Another person on the two-wheeler sustained minor injuries and has been admitted to a local hospital. The occupants of the car also escaped with minor injuries.

Traffic police visited the scene and conducted an investigation.
