Udupi: DC instructs authorities for strict implementation of unlock guidelines

Udupi: Udupi district deputy commissioner (DC) G Jagadeesha on Saturday instructed local authorities for strict implementation of unlock guidelines.

He was speaking during a meeting held with Tahsildars and local authorities.

Jagadeesha said, ” Due to the strict implementation of Covid-19 guidelines in the district, the positivity rate has been decreased. From 6 am on Monday, all officials must take strict action against those not following unlock guidelines. No activity except those permitted must be allowed.”

“No public functions except weddings with limited guests must be allowed in the district. Strict action must be taken against the organizers,” he added
